Listed below are details of many of the holiday cottages available to let. Some participate in the Scottish Tourist Board grading scheme and have high listings with 3 stars or more. Others do not participate in the scheme, but this does not indicate any lesser quality or service.  For peak times you are advised to book early.

Wynd End

Wynd EndThis unique cottage is an 'A' listed building and is typical of the old part of the town. Nestling down one of the town's closes, the house which was once the "model lodging house" has been tastefully upgraded. The surprisingly spacious accommodation, which is for two people, consists of a living room with an open fire, a bedroom in the form of a gallery open to the living room, a dining -kitchen, and a shower room (no bath).
